Fortway Farm September 18th - 21st 2025


myself and Paul arrived on Thursday morning the weather was fine and good. Then at lunch time Shelley and Jeff arrived. We made some drinks and Shelley came out with a home made cake. yes to cake! It was beautiful. Paul went to put the signs out and while he was doing that i was aware of a person behind me, it was Webber he had walked for over 20 minutes to come and see us. We all then decided to go to the local pub for a meal, it was very nice, back to the rally field and an early night for all.

Friday morning Paul went fishing. After lunch Sue and Terry arrived, then later on Jay and Julie, Slug,Dawn and Izzie. It was a nice night but a little cool.

Saturday was free and easy and then at night time we all went down to the site's marque which was situated at the bottom of the field. myself and Shelley had organised some games using the club's equipment. The male members against the female members. We had lots of laughs and the male members won but only just.

Sunday morning was a beautiful morning. It was a shame we all had to go home. The rally closed and we all went home until the next one.

                                                 Well what can i say WOW WOW WOW absolutely fantastic weekend there were thirteen vans in attendance. We arrived on Friday and it was a free and easy day, with a few of the members getting together for a chat and a drink. On Saturday a few of the members went to the local pub in the afternoon for a drink , while other members travelled out locally to go for a walk. Saturday evening we all went to the hall for a three course valentine meal. The hall and tables were decorated beautifully. Copt Oak Early Halloween. 3 nights 24 th – 26th October 2024

Thank you to the Marshals SP and JP for their friendly welcome and the organising and running of the Rally. Co Marshalls BT and GG. 9 units attended, pitched on hardstanding at the side of the Memorial Hall. Thursday – Legs down upon arrival. Free and easy day. Lovely sunny afternoon. Friday – More arrivals. Free and easy day. Evening meal at the Copt Oak pub, a good number attended. The highlight of the weekend was on Saturday evening and the early celebration of Halloween. Everyone joined in and there were fantastic costumes, make up and spooky table accessories on display. The Memorial Hall was decorated to add to the ambience. SP organised and led a team to lay on a fantastic buffet for the evening. Thank you to SP and team. The buffet and the seated area looked fantastic. SP introduced and ran the raffle and games. £32.00 raised for Air Ambulance. Thank you to all the members who donated raffle prizes. The spooky game ideas came from GG and SP ran them. Easter weekend Bakewell Showground April 17th - 22nd 2025

             Bakewell Easter Weekend 17 th – 22 nd April Rally Arrived on Thursday and set up in the sunshine. Lovely location with the town of Bakewell and the Monsal Trail both only being a ten minute walk away. Friday was a free and easy day with a walk into Bakewell for us. The evening was a bit too chilli to go to the social tent, so, chilled in the caravan with the dogs.  Saturday, we enjoyed Hot cross buns and apple pie in the social tent and then walked part of the Monsal Trail to the old railway station, and down into Bakewell to burn off the calories. The evening was fun packed, starting with Lisa’s home-made scones, followed by a music quiz and backward raffle. Well done to Chris and Mel for winning the quiz.
