Easter Rally 2026


Felt a bit nervous about going on the rally. Hadn’t been for a long time and only renewed my membership this year. I needn’t have worried as the welcome we received was a warm one. Expecting to be on hard standing behind the industrial building was pleasantly surprised to find the rally was further back on grass with trees spring flowers and lovely views and plenty of places for the children to explore and ride their bikes around. Thanks Paul for this.  A relaxing free and easy rally with people mixing and chatting on the rally field. The children were made very welcome with their own rally packs containing a quiz and other things to do. Sarah and Lisa had them in to make Easter cakes and an Easter tree and sent Sean and I to the station cafe for a break. Much appreciated. There was also an Easter egg hunt for the children which they thoroughly enjoyed. The 4Cs at its best friendly, welcoming and very enjoyable. We all had a great time and are glad to be back. Thank you Marshall’s you did a great job.

Lyndon Top Rutland water August 1st - 4th

  What a lovely weekend at Lyndon Top we arrived on Thursday afternoon and the sun was shining, we had heavy rain Thursday evening, but we woke up to sunshine again on Friday, unfortunately we woke to rain on Saturday but it soon cleared up and the sun shone again until we left Sunday afternoon. We had eleven vans in attendance which for saying this was a last minute replacement for the golden cup was fantastic. Thursday afternoon and evening was free and easy, getting set up and catching up with everyone.  Friday was another free and easy day, we went for a walk around the site which had some stunning views overlooking the lake and then in the evening some of us met up in the party tent for a good chat, lots of laughs and a few games of sticky thirteen.                                                                ...

VALENTINES RALLY, COPT OAK MEMORIAL HALL, FEBRUARY 15th to 18th 2024.

                                            A lovely rally run by S & J P plus lots of helpers. The Hall was beautifully decorated and the food was lovely, followed by fun and games and music, What more could you ask for? Many thanks for all the hard work that goes into running a rally like this. Darley Moor Motor Cycle Race Club September 26th - 29th

  We arrived Thursday and received a warm welcome from MC and W who then showed us where to go. It was raining so lucky for us the ground was level so we were able to reverse in and get the van level both ways the first time. I then sat and had a catchup with W and S while PR went out in the car to fetch ours and other members water. Thursday night was cold and wet so we all relaxed in our own vans. Friday the weather was a lot better and we were able to sit out with the other members and have a chat and a good catch up. The club's tea urn had broken so W made drinks and bacon sandwiches for some of the members using his outdoor kitchen. Friday night we all went into the party tent where we had a few games of cards ( Sticky thirteen ) that SP organised, which was very amusing. Saturday some of the members went into Ashbourne for a few hours, we went to a nearby garden center and others went for a walk upto the race track to watch the cycle racing.
